In this one-day workshop, you’ll learn how to make best use of advanced WebAdMIT features. We'll begin the day by evaluating your current WebAdMIT knowledge and skill levels. Then, through a series of hands-on exercises led by your instructor, you’ll practice using these features to rank applicants and pinpoint the most qualified candidates. As you complete each exercise, your instructor will observe your performance and provide you with feedback to ensure successful outcomes. Additionally, you’ll have opportunities to network with peers and learn how they're using WebAdMIT to achieve their admissions goals. Following the course, we'll evaluate your newly acquired knowledge and skills.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will earn 0.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

What are the learning objectives?

By the end of this session, you will be able incorporate your application review processes with WebAdMIT to:

  • Manage your program’s completion requirements for applicants, so you can begin to review them.
  • Identify the subjective items that a reviewer will need to manually evaluate, then use the Assignments feature in WebAdMIT to create and assign an evaluation form.
  • Establish how interviews will be scored, identify who will be conducting them and when/where they will be conducted, then use the interviewing feature in WebAdMIT to create and assign those interviews to users.
  • Create Scoring Models and Point Tables for your programs, then use the Scoring feature in WebAdMIT to pick your desired scoring components and merge them all to implement an applicant score.

What level of WebAdMIT knowledge do I need to have?

While you don't need to be a WebAdMIT expert to attend, you will need to know the basics so you can actively participate, including how to navigate the software, use lists, and find applicant information. Please complete our online, self-paced courses before attending the workshop: WebAdMIT Level 1 Training and WebAdMIT Level 2 Training. If you have completed these courses within the last 12 months, you do not need to complete them again before the workshop.
