While it’s important to market to and communicate with students throughout the enrollment process, the reality is that most programs are either not doing enough or are using outdated tactics. In today’s tech-driven, academically-competitive world, targeted, relevant, and personalized communications are essential to capture and maintain student interest and give your program a competitive advantage. In this one-day workshop, you’ll explore practical and realistic concepts and ideas to help you establish key communications goals and incorporate relevant technologies.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will earn 0.7 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

What are the learning objectives?

By the end of this workshop, you’ll have the foundational knowledge to be able to:

  • Convert more inquiries to applicants to increase yield rates using WebAdMIT.
  • Accurately and consistently portray your school’s brand identity and value proposition.
  • Increase faculty participation in the admissions process.
  • Develop a strategic communications plan that can be incorporated into WebAdMIT or your CRM.
  • Evaluate key metrics and measure your return on investment.

What do I need to know to participate?

This session is geared toward admissions professionals who want to be more strategic about their communication and marketing to prospective students and applicants as they move through the enrollment funnel. No prerequisite enrollment marketing knowledge is necessary, but attendees should have an on-the-job level of responsibility that includes applicant engagement. Specifically, they should be involved in planning and/or sending communications (this can be using WebAdMIT and/or another mediums). Additionally, though not required, it’s useful to have a basic understanding of WebAdMIT’s functionality, including how to make Lists, Local Statuses, and Email Templates.
